Reporting content
If a companion generated something that should not have been produced, report it to support@presenceai.co.in with the companion’s name and roughly when it happened. Automated safety filters reduce but do not eliminate bad output, and reports are how we find the gaps.
Content that sexualises minors is absolutely prohibited under our Terms of Service. Accounts found generating or requesting it are permanently terminated, and reported to the authorities where we are legally required to do so.
Writing a useful bug report
Include as much of this as you can — it roughly halves the back-and-forth:
- Your phone model and Android version
- The email address on your Presence account
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- The companion’s name, and roughly what time it happened
- A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see
Common things
“Your AI friend is sleepy” / I’ve run out of messages
Presence includes a daily message allowance that resets each day. When it runs out you can watch a short rewarded ad to top it up, or wait for the reset.
My companion never messages me on its own
Check that notifications are enabled for Presence, both in the app’s profile settings and in your Android system settings. Also check that battery optimisation isn’t restricting the app — aggressive power saving on some devices will hold back push notifications. Note that companions message when they have a reason to, not on a fixed timer, so a quiet stretch is normal.
A photo didn’t arrive with a message
Images pass an automated safety check before delivery. When an image doesn’t clear it, the message is still sent without it. Nothing is wrong with your account.
Creating a companion is slow
Creation generates a whole life and an avatar in one go, so it takes noticeably longer than sending a message. Leave the screen open until it finishes.
I want to start a conversation over
Clearing a chat empties the conversation but keeps the companion. Deleting the companion removes it along with its whole conversation and the images generated in it. Both are permanent.
